The Athletic Training Program

Intense athletic training can be nutrient depleting if the diet does not make up for the nutrient loss. The athletic training program is designed to create a baseline for the clients' everyday diet for light training days, intense training days, event days and restoration days. Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytonutrients, essential fats, carbohydrates and proteins are all taken into consideration as the balance is different for each client and training activity. 

The approach includes an initial meeting (in the clients home whenever possible) with the intention to understand the specific dietary and lifestyle details that are essential in developing an effective diet plan. Jen uncovers key dietary, sleep, training and work habits as well as gains an understanding on the current health state, health history, medications, supplements, health goals and food preferences. Considering all the information provided, Jen drafts an optimal everyday diet plan with  and a how-to approach for each unique training and event scenario. The plan is reviewed with the client in-office or via phone, whichever is mutually convenient, soon thereafter. This program includes 3-months of email support.
